As for the flame-resistant conveyor belts, DEPREUX proposes the following two types of safety belts :
The DELTAFLAM belt which is an applied belt, composed of a carcase made of alternating textile and rubber layers and an upper and lower outer rubber cover.
The upper cover protects the carcase from damage caused by the material being transported while the lower rubber cover protects it from abrasion by the supporting rollers.
The DYNAFLAM belt which is a "solid-woven" belt with rubber covers, composed of a carcase made of a thick "solid-woven" fabric impregnated with a PVC paste.
DELTAFLAM and DYNAFLAM belts comply with the K, S or VT safety norms and come in the following norms :
tensile strength: 400 N/mm to 3150 N/ mm.
width for a standard belt: up to 1600 N/mm.
These safety belts have several advantages :
they can reduce the risk of an explosion resulting from the accumulation of electrical charges,
they can reduce the risk of a fire spreading, a risk that exists not only in the transport of combustible material such as paper, wood or coal,
but also in the case of material transported in hazardous areas ( e.g.: a closed area in which there is a flame or a source of heat, areas in which there is a danger of leaking gas, solvents or volatile substances, an area adjacent to a hazardous area).
Its 50 years experience in making safety belts for some of the world's most exacting underground coal mines with stringent safety regulations, has enable DEPREUX to become one of the world leaders in safety belts for use in all industries.
